Your public IP is the address visible when the current connection accesses the internet. Check again after switching routes; if the address and location change with the route, web traffic is usually leaving through the new exit point. Location data comes from IP databases, which may lag for border regions, cloud networks, or recently reassigned address blocks.
The ISP field indicates what type of network or organization manages the public address. It may show a broadband provider, data center, or network organization. The proxy result is taken directly from 70VPN’s interface and is not inferred from the name. Detection criteria vary between databases, so use this result for diagnostics rather than as a conclusion about account status, route quality, or access to a specific service.
DNS check
DNS translates website names into network addresses. A changed public IP does not necessarily mean DNS requests follow the same path. Browser privacy limits prevent reliable enumeration of every resolver used by the system, so this page does not display speculative results or connect to third-party test services.
Open the network or DNS settings in your client and confirm that DNS requests are configured to follow the current connection. If the client offers connection diagnostics, check whether the DNS route matches the selected route.
After changing settings, disconnect and reconnect the current route, then clear DNS caches retained by the system and browser. Old records may still be reused, making a completed configuration change appear ineffective.
Check the public IP again, then use the client diagnostics or your operating system’s network details to inspect the DNS path. If the public location has changed while DNS still follows the previous network configuration, check custom system DNS, browser Secure DNS, and the client’s split-routing rules first.
To return the result, 70VPN’s same-origin interface receives the network address required to perform the lookup. 70VPN does not record the lookup result or forward the request to third-party public interfaces.
